Hello, I’m DB Green, a storyteller deeply enchanted by the weave of urban fantasy and the pulsing beat of adventure. As the creator of the AffinityVerse, I craft stories that delve into the mystical and the magical, inviting readers to explore realms woven with intrigue and propelled by character-driven plots.

I live with my wife, two kids, and four cats in Yorkshire, England. As a family, we love to travel, especially to Florida, as we adore theme parks—a passion that can certainly be called an understatement.

Besides my affinity for urban fantasy, I am a massive fan of science fiction, with a huge passion for the BBC series Doctor Who. Ever since I first heard that wonderful “wheezing and groaning” sound of the TARDIS as a six-year-old, I became enraptured by the boundless adventures of the Doctor, which have always fueled my imagination. You may see this passion for Doctor Who filter through into my books every now and again.

My journey as an author has also led me to embrace serialized storytelling, which I passionately share through The Affinity Web newsletter on Substack. There, my stories continue to unfold alongside my books.
